In my work as a Tapping practitioner, I often use metaphysics. The body is a metaphor – a physical manifestation of our thoughts, our emotions, our beliefs. We CAN heal ourselves, but we must be willing and able to override our old thinking and see ourselves as whole and healthy – even in the midst of a health crisis or injury. That’s not always easy to do! And we need to learn to LISTEN to our body, rather than chastising it or hating it!
I have understood the basics of metaphysics since I was a young girl. When I was a kid, I used to make myself sick so I wouldn’t have to go to school – usually on the day of a test. I didn’t just fake it, I literally made myself have a sore throat or stomach pains. My mom used to tell me to go take a walk on the beach, that I’d probably feel better. She was right.
I remember the day I decided that if I could make myself sick, I could make myself well. From that day on, I’ve had only a few medical issues. When those issues come up, I know they are a manifestation of something I’ve been thinking, believing, feeling. They are a gift.
During the lockdown, one of my clients was having dental issues. As I researched the metaphysics of teeth and dental problems, I came across The Holistic Tooth Fairy from New Zealand. Her real name is Meliors Simms, and she is a true healer. As I perused her website, I discovered that each tooth has a metaphysical message. The THF says that molars and premolars have a personal message for each person, but they carry a theme.
Here’s one of her blog posts about molars and emotions.
Did you know that your teeth and gums can be healed? They can! It’s important that you not wait too long, but the physical body can repair itself when not stressed. The Holistic Tooth Fairy (HTF for short) creates all sorts of meditations for self-healing.
Here is one I particularly liked for forgiving your teeth and flossing. I really love listening to this and using the meditation to affect my gums and teeth.
Meliors is so delightful, and she gave me permission to share the meditation with you. If you like what you hear, please check out her website. She uses a social media platform called Insight Timer, which I admit I had never heard of (oh, goodie, another social media platform!).
If you suffer from dental issues, I encourage your to sign up for her newsletter and listen to her live broadcasts, and possibly consider some Oral Care Coaching. Like everything else, if we get too busy to care for our oral health, more than just our teeth will suffer.
It’s never too late to reclaim your health!
